George Bush’s cousin says Westmeath = “no man’s land”

Billy BushAccording to Access Hollywood reporter Billy Bush, Westmeath is a “no man’s land” located “outside of Dublin.”

Now our man Billy is cousin to George (yes, dubya himself) and perhaps there’s something genetic going on. After all, George has had his problems with foreign geography, having once called Africa a nation, Europe a key ally and the Kingdom of Jordan a Gulf Coast Country. But to refer to Westmeath as “no man’s land”?

Well, colour me insulted.

Here we are giving all these lovely tax breaks and providing a highly educated english-speaking workforce for top US companies that locate in Ireland (Apple, Intel, eBay and Google all have major campuses here, to name but a few) and the King of Pop himself selects Grouse Lodge, County Westmeath, Ireland to record his new album . . . so Hollywood flies out here and labels it “no man’s land” and further demeans its location by virtually calling it a suburb of Dublin.

Well!

You know what else is outside of Dublin? Los Angeles.

And your brain, Billy – YOUR BRAIN.
