Ireland has a number of power plants. Despite what you may have heard, they are not run on donkey poo, but on turf.
Good aul turf! Guaranteed to keep Ireland in electric juice for the next, oh, 10 years!!

This weekend is the Ryder Cup; the biggest event in a sport invented a stone’s throw from Ireland. I suppose it makes sense, Ireland presents an ideal environment for it - gently rippling landscape covered with perpetually green grass.
