Last Brideswell Session of the Year

The year draws to a close and the last Brideswell session of 2006 gathers up its skirts for one last hurrah.

The fingerpicker joined the bean and damsel along with the regulars for a friendly session around O’Connell’s Christmas decorations. It’s been a good year for the session, with a number of visitors sticking the head in over the last 12 months. Wonderful that a session like this has managed to survive out here in midlands - new and old faces getting together the way it’s been done for centuries here in Ireland; a few jars, a few tunes.

Let’s hope the new year brings many happy returns at O’Connell’s.
