Cruise through Roscommon

Oh good Lord - Tom Cruise might be moving to Roscommon.

I’ll tell ye, it’s getting hard to move around in the midlands without bumping into American celebreties nowadays. First it was Michael Jackson in Moate and now Tom Cruise in Roscommon?

Apparently, there is a 33-acre plot of land including an ancestral home once inhabited by the Mapother family, Tom Cruise’s family.

Which brings us to another interesting fact, Mr Cruise was actually born Mr. Tom Cruise Mapother IV.

Wow.

Just as long as he doesn’t try to adopt the accent; I doubt the world has fully recovered from whatever it was he was doing in that Far and Away movie.
