Blogging for the dark side

As anyone who has visited Irishblogs.ie can tell you, the number of Irish bloggers has increased astronomically over the last two years.

Now it sounds like someone has finally copped on and is touting the strength of blogging for capitalistic reasons. this conference in Mullingar is obviously geared to get local business people running to their WordPress. Oh, the days of the noble blogger set gently against the horizon as the capitalistic blogger rears his ugly head. Yes, Irish people, increase your cash flow by espousing your opinion online!!! What has worked for thousands will surely work for you! Newspaper and print advertising are a thing of the past - embrace your inner google analytics and get your message out there! Sell! Sell! Sell!!

Of course, personally, I wouldn’t have the slightest idea why anyone would consider doing such a thing . . .
