Boyne Fisherman’s rescue

boyne fisherman's rescue logoOccasionally it’s good to recognise those who volunteer their time to help others. The Boyne Fisherman’s Rescue unit is one of those organisations.

For years these unpaid volunteers have assisted in rescue and recovery operations on the Boyne river and nationwide here in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

They also have an absolutely fabulous website complete with action shots, news articles and all you could want in terms of finding out more about their volunteer and rescue operations.

Certainly if you’re planning some sort of nautical holiday in Ireland or are merely curious about Irish waterways and rescue operations, you should check ‘em out.
