April in Dublin – Events, Weather and Travel Tips

Regardless of the season of the year, the city has always something to offer to its visitors. April Events in Dublin

Color Boat Race – This event will happen on the first weekend of April. Crowds gather to the Liffey when the University College Dublin and Trinity compete in the old school competition of the rowing race between Sean Heuston Bridge, O’Connell Bridge, the little Ha’ Penny Bridge fills with audiences.

Opera Ireland – This is the national opera company of Ireland. They currently present four major scale operas every year. They perform in the Geity Theater and sometimes tour their productions both regionally and worldwide.

Wood Machinery Exhibition – For more than 30 years, this even has been the gathering place for the entire wood industry. This exhibition stays to be the single most successful all-round marketing venture anyone can ever make. It is primarily the only channel wherein you could effectively mix entertainment, personal selling and product demonstration.

April Weather in Dublin

Though you may think that it rains in this city the entire year, in fact it doesn’t. The rains are actually the reason for the green shade not just of the city but of the country, but it is seldom heavy. Most days you would have some rain, some sun and great clouds. But compare to other places in the country, Dublin has the better weather. April’s last two weeks are inclined to be sunny with hot climate.
